Saying he has just returned from Brussels where he heard [Vladimir] Golschmann conduct [Honegger's] Pacific [231], commenting on the singing of Golschmann's wife, and reporting that Sam[uel Dushkin] "made a fine hit with the Ravel [Tzigane] here at its first performance. Ravel, turning the pages at the piano, looked like a little boggart."
